Child Safety Standards

Sincera is a service for adults. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation absolutely, and the product is built to keep minors out of it: an age floor on every application, a government ID check on every member, and nothing for a non-member to browse.

1.Zero tolerance

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is prohibited on Sincera without exception. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized depictions of minors of any kind including generated or edited images, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other sexualization or exploitation of a person under 18.

It also includes attempting to use Sincera to reach a minor anywhere else. There is no warning and no second chance for this conduct. Accounts are removed permanently, and we report to the authorities as described in section 5.

2.Adults only, and no contact before an account opens

Membership is limited to adults 21 and over. The date of birth given on the application is checked against that floor when it is submitted, and again when the application is written to a profile.

Every member also completes photo ID verification through Stripe Identity, a check of a government document against a matching live selfie, and a membership never opens on its own until that check clears. Until an account is open, a member cannot be matched, cannot message anyone, and cannot enter a video date.

We do not operate a public profile directory, and someone who is not an approved member has no way to browse or search for members, on the website or in the apps. The one place a member’s card reaches anyone outside the feed is a date invitation: we send it only to the member being invited, and the invitation and its private link show the inviting member’s first name, age, photo, and what they wrote about themselves. Every applicant must be 21 or over and is asked to verify their identity with Stripe Identity, and automatic approval never opens on its own until that check clears. Inside the membership, a member sees only people at or above a compatibility floor, and only what those people chose to share on their profile: first name, photos, age, a rough distance, and their own written answers (a short bio, what they are looking for, interests, and the marital history and children status they declared). A member also sees how compatible the two of them are, as a percentage. Once a connection is unlocked, the introduction email may point out where the two of them differ on children, timeline, or how much faith matters to them, including the other person’s answer. Last names are never shown. Messaging opens only after a mutual introduction and a completed video date, when both people say they want to stay in touch.

3.Reporting, from inside the product

Reporting is built in wherever you meet another member: on every profile and introduction card, inside the video date, on the screens that follow a date, and in the conversation thread. You do not need a match to report someone. It takes one tap, it does not require leaving the app, and the person you report is never told who reported them.

A report blocks further contact immediately and closes any introduction between you. You do not have to be certain, and you do not have to explain yourself. If something felt wrong, that is enough reason to tell us.

If you cannot reach the in-app control, or you are reporting something you saw elsewhere, write to hello@sinceralove.com.

4.How we respond

Reports involving a minor are treated as the highest priority and are reviewed by a person, not only by automated systems. On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on the platform, we remove the content and terminate the account.

We preserve evidence as the law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests that are properly made.

5.Reporting to the authorities

Sincera reports confirmed child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTipline, as required by United States law, and to the relevant regional authority where a report originates outside the United States.

Anyone can report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.

6.Point of contact

Our designated contact for child safety, including notices from Google Play, Apple, NCMEC and law enforcement, is hello@sinceralove.com. This address reaches a person who can speak to our review and enforcement procedures and who can act on what is sent.

Sincera is operated by Rhodium Ventures, LLC, a Georgia (USA) limited liability company.

7.Compliance

We comply with applicable child safety laws and regulations in the places we operate. These standards sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and where our Terms describe conduct that ends a membership, the conduct described here is the clearest case of it.
