Most cookie policies are long because most websites track you. Ours is short because we don’t. This page lists every cookie Sincera sets (all of them first-party and all of them necessary for the service to work) and records our promise about anything we might add later. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
1. What we don't do
Sincera’s own pages run no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers, no session replay, no chat widgets, and no ad tags: no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing on our pages watches what you do and reports it to someone else. Even our fonts are served from our own domain rather than loaded from Google. We verified this with a code-level audit of the site on July 3, 2026, and we re-audit at least annually.
2. The cookies we set
Every cookie below is set by us, on our own domain, to make something you asked for work:
- Your sign-in session (
sb-dhrcgzwsblwxxddnmulu-auth-token, sometimes split into numbered parts, plus a short-lived companion during magic-link sign-in). Keeps you signed in as a member. Lasts as long as your session; it refreshes while you use Sincera and is removed when you sign out. - Your application in transit (
sincera_join_intake). When you apply to join, your answers ride in this cookie for up to 30 minutes while you click the sign-in link we email you, so you don’t have to type them twice. It’s deleted the moment it’s used.
That’s the whole list. We also use your browser’s own storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) to keep in-progress answers safe on your device; for example, so a hiccup during the couples check-up doesn’t lose what you typed. That data stays on your device; storage itself sends nothing anywhere.
3. Other companies' pages during Sincera flows
A few steps of Sincera deliberately happen on another company’s website, and those sites set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Stripe: payments happen on checkout.stripe.com and identity verification on verify.stripe.com. We never embed Stripe’s scripts in our own pages; you are taken to theirs.
- Zoom and Twine: Speed Sessions and video dates run on their platforms, reached by a link we email you.
While you’re on those pages, their privacy and cookie policies apply; see Stripe’s privacy policy for example. Our own pages set only the cookies in section 2.
4. Controlling cookies
Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time; every major browser has cookie controls in its privacy settings, including per-site rules. Because all of our cookies are functional, the consequence is simple: blocking or deleting them signs you out, and the join flow can’t carry your application through the email step. Nothing else about the public site breaks, and no tracking is avoided, because there isn’t any.
5. If that ever changes, we ask first
If we ever want to add a non-essential cookie or tracking tool (analytics, an advertising pixel, a chat widget, session replay, anything of the kind), we will ask for your consent first, with a clear consent banner, before that tool runs at all. No tracking will ever be switched on quietly, and this policy will be updated the same day.
